Monkey bars

Took kids to Woodland to play while Allison cooked and cleaned. Colin said he could get all the way across the monkey bars. Well, he almost could. Reed was not gonna go through the slide into a puddle and they both climbed stuff.

A lot of 2007 pictures.

New pictures!!! Its about time.

Here's Colin and me being happy. Note Colin's blue puppy ears which help him to hear well.
Colin is fun.
Reed and Colin take their baths together, which is great because they are both old enough to sit up and enjoy bath time. They crack each other up.
You would think these kids have pacifiers glued to their faces.
Christmas is fun.
Tell you what, you make your own caption.
Evil Brad smells babies.
I love Halloween. This year, Colin was a penguin (not like Batman, like Happy Feet) and Reed was a steroid using baseball player. Later Reed got all mad and threw the couch across the room. We put him into rehab and he's better now.
Owen letting Reed know what's up.
Awesome.

What are you looking at?

Going to the carnival with Colin

About a week ago there was this little traveling carnival that set up in the parking lot of the Johnson City Mall. So I thought that I would take Colin out there and let him ride some rides. So we get to the mall and find a big empty parking lot. The carnies had moved on in the middle of the night. Stinking gypsies.

So anyway, instead of sitting in the parking lot and crying, Colin and I did other things:

We went to the park. Colin proved his mettle by climbing higher than anyone in the park that morning ever climbed that morning. Pretty high.

But would climbing be enough to feed his adrenaline addiction? Hardly. Colin covered the slides with Crisco and attempted to set new land-speed records down the curvy slides.

Bored with playground antics, we went to the VA and found some ducks.

Ducks are cool. Colin kept trying to hit them with a golf ball. Not really. That would have been funny though.

Later we went swimming. Colin can't swim yet so I kind of carry him through the pool right now. He jumps in and I catch him and keep him from sinking. Fun for all.

Colin is cool. Look at how cool he is. Man, that's cool.

After the pool, Colin decided that the yard needed to be mowed and he thought that since I had taken him to all of those cool places that he would go ahead and take care of the yard for me. There were bubbles everywhere.

We'll catch the carnival next time.
